DESCRIPTION
We have designed and built a plant dedicated to assembling the parts that make up the cooling fan assembly of baking ovens. Here are the key features:
- Main Components: The fan assembly consists of four key elements: an electric motor, a metal base plate, a technopolymer fan, and a metal locking disk.
- Assembly Process: The equipment assembles the motor to the base plate using an automatic screwing unit. The impeller is then manipulated by a pneumatic gripper and two controlled axes, with load and clamping dimension managed by the vertical axis encoder. The clamping disc is mounted by an electromagnet and two controlled axes, ensuring accuracy and stability.
- Verification Station: The plant includes a verification and testing station. This uses motor electrification to start the fan and photocells for proper operation. These operations are performed while unloading the assembled unit and loading the parts to be assembled.
- Productivity: The plant is designed for a throughput of 360 parts per hour, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage of production.
